Thangalpadi

Thangalpadi is a small town in Kuttipuram panchayath of Malappuram district, Kerala. The town lies on Kerala state highway 69 which connects Thrissur and Thrikkanapuram in Kuttipuram. It is situated 3 kilometers away from Kuttipuram town and 10 kilometers away from Edappal town.

The town is located on the beautiful scenic shore of Bharathappuzha, second longest river in Kerala. Thangalpadi is on the border between Malappuram and Palakkad districts.

KELTRON ELECTRO CERAMICS LIMITED, a state PSU under Industries Dept, Government of Kerala is a subsidiary of Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (KELTRON). The manufacturing units are located on the shore of Bharathappuzha. More than hundred employees work in Keltron Kuttipuram.

MES Engineering College

MES Engineering college Kuttipuram is the first self-financing engineering college in Kerala which is located on the shore Bharathappuzha. The college lies on Kuttipuram – Thrithala road at Thangalpadi, Thrikkanapuram. The college has a magnificent view of Bharathappuzha from Campus. The college was established in 1994 and inaugurated in 1998 by then Chief minister E.K Nayanar. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
