C Muhammed Faizy is one of the most senior Muslim leaders in Kerala. Born in Pannur village in Kizhakkoth panchayath of Kozhikode district. He is an Islamic orator, writer, teacher and he is holding several important positions in state and central Government. Currently he is the chairman of Kerala state Hajj committee and member of Indian Hajj committee. Previously he was a member of Kerala Waqf board.
C Muhammed Faizy is a leader of AP faction of Sunnis in Kerala. It is widely believed that he is the second in charge in the AP Sunnis leaders. He has been holding General Manager positions of Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya (largest AP Sunni institutions in Kerala which is regarded as the capital of AP Sunnis) for a long time. Eventhough he is senior leader in Markaz and executing official Government duties, keeps contacts with local population. He updates his relationship with common followers of AP Sunnis while traveling through deep inside of villages. He has special oratory skills to attract common people.
C Muhammed Faizy has family relation with Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliar,founder and supremo of AP faction of Sunnis. He married Maimoona, the daughter of AP Aboobacker Musliar.
