Chembra is a village in Thiruvegappura panchayath of Palakkad district, Kerala. It is located 1 kilometer away from Thiruvegappura town on Thiruvegappura – Pallipuram road.

Chembra village is located on the shore of Kunthipuzha (locally known as Thoothapuzha). Thoothapuzha empties into Bharathappuzha near Chembra at Irimbiliyam. Chembra has vast paddy fields with rice cultivation. Thoothapuzha provides water resources for Chembra fields. Along with rice, coconut, arecanut, banana are cultivated.

Chembra is well connected by roads. The village is easily accessible from Thiruvegappura and Thrithala. There is a small road to Karambathur starts from here. Kuttipuram is the nearest railway station. Valanchery municipality is the nearest major town. Chembra is situated on the border between Malappuram and Palakkad districts.

Chembra is famous for religious harmony and there is a substantial amounts Hindu and Muslim community. Chembra is famous for temple festivals and Kalavela (a traditional Valluvanadan festival associated with Bhagavathi Kavu).
