Elettil Vattoli is a fast growing town which lies 4 kilometers away from Nellamkandy , Koduvally in Kozhikode district of Kerala. NH 212 which connects Kozhikode and Kollegal is passing through Nellamkandy.
Elettil Vattoli is one of the largest junction town in Kozhikode district. Eventhough any national and state highways are not passing through Elettil, more than seven important roads starts from here to different locations of Kozhikode district. Elettil-Poonoor road connects Elettil and State highway 34 (Koyilandi to Edavanna) at Poonoor. Elettil-Arambram road intersects with State highway 68 (Adivaram-Kappad) at Kacherimukku. Elettil-Parappanpoyil road and Elettil-Nellamkandy road connect the town with Thamarassery and Koduvally respectively. Narikkuni, Madavoor, Kuttamboor and coastal areas of southern part of Kozhikode district is easily accessible from Vattoli.
Elettil Vattoli is the largest town and busiest commercial centre of Kizhakkoth panchayath. Eventhough socially, culturally, religiously and politically both Elettil Vattoli and neighboring Koduvally shares common heritage, Poonoor river physically separates both towns. Elettil Vattoli and Kizhakkoth panchayath are part of Koduvally assembly constituency and Kozhikode Loksabha constituency.
Elettil Hospital
Elettil hospital is the largest medical centre in Kizhakkoth panchayath and a fast growing hospital in Kizhakkoth and Koduvally area. Established in 2014. Mr. Saleem is the founder and Managing director of the hospital. He started his career as an x-ray technician in and around Elettil Vattoli. He left for middle east and returned to Elettil. In 2014 – 2015 he started Elettil hospital with a capital he earned from middle east. Elettil hospital is one of the best Gynecology and Obstetrics department in Elettil and Koduvally.
Wadi Husna Public School
Wadi Husna public school founded in 1996, is a co-educational senior secondary school affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. It is managed by Wadi Husna Educational Charitable Association. Wadi Husna orphanage, another unique institution of Wadi Husna educational and charitable association established in 1994. It is unique orphanage allowing orphan girls to reside in their own houses with all their expenses met by the orphanage.
