Padhe Bharat Badhe Bharat is a Ministry of Human Resources Development program to nurture an enduring reading and writing skills and mathematical skills among kids in the class of 1 and 2 standards. It is under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan programme. This programme was launched on 26 August, 2014 with an aim of improving learning outcomes in children from early stages of their education. The programme focuses to create an environment to enhance reading and writing in comprehension.
According to National Curriculum Framework-2005, a majority of children have a sense of fear and failure regarding Mathematics. This sense of fear will lead to give up Mathematics and to drop out from school later. The programme have many methods to create natural and positive interests in children in early education though joyfull situations. Generally kids who delay in acquiring skills early mathematical solutions, struggle in higher classes. The programme highlights learning subjects through mother tongue and providing required study materials in mother tongue also.
