Chonad is a small village in Karassery grama panchayath of Kozhikode district, Kerala. It lies one kilometer away from North Karassery on Karassery junction to Kodiyathoor road.
Iruvanjipuzha, a tributary of Chaliyar river is flowing through Chonad and it is the lifeline of the village. Iruvanjipuzha provides highly fertile soil and farmers grow banana and other vegetables on the shores of the river.
