Mariveettilthazham is a small town which is situated on Kacherimukku – Elettil road in Kizhakkoth panchayath of Kozhikode district, Kerala. Kizhakkoth grama panchayath office and Pannur higher secondary school are located in Mariveettilthazham village. Mariveettilthazham is considered as administrative and educational centre of Kizhakkoth panchayath.
Mariveettilthazham is well connected by road network. Arambram – Elettil road is passing through here. It has an equal distance of three kilometers to Kacherimukku and Elettil Vattoli.
Pannur higher secondary school is a main educational institution in Mariveettilthazham which was established in 1928.
