Nikita Joby is a journalism graduate from Kerala who became youngest member in Kerala local body. She was elected from 11th ward of Vadakkekara panchayath in Ernakulam district at a huge margin of 228 votes against CPI(M) candidate. The re-election was held in August 2023 due to death of her father in a road accident. Nikita Joby represents Indian National Congress.
Nikita, born in 12 November, 2001 into a Congress family. In 2020 Kerala local body elections, her father P.J Joby had won the seat.
