1. Kalanthodu is a small township in Chathamangalam panchayath in Kozhikode district, Kerala. It is located on Kozhikode Mukkam road. Town is 22 km away from Kozhikode city. Kattangal and Kalanthodu has now emerged as a single town and also a major commercial centre due to heavy investment by Non Resident Indians in the real estate sector. The town has many residential and housing buildings for rent.

7. It is fast growing town due to its proximity to major educational institutions. New shopping centers and residential complexes are booming in the town.
