CH Abuyusuf Gurukkal was an Indian Union Muslim League leader and a popular socio cultural education activist in Valanchery municipality where he served as panchayath president for ten years. He was born in well known Changampally family in Kattiparuthi, was a great phanthrophist who nurtured palliative system in Valanchery.
He was a versatile human being who was respected by people irrespective of religion, caste and political parties. Gurukkal was a pivotal force in combining political activities and social welfare activitie3s and stood firmly with his decisions. Well-liked Muslim League leader who beared different designations in Muslim League and local bodies. He was a member of Malappuram district Muslim League committee and was nominated as the president of Kuttippuram Block Panchayath president and Valanchery panchayath president.
CH Abuyusuf Gurukkal, who possessed keen vision and insights about the development of Valanchery. He was behind the multi-storied commercial complex building where fish, meat and vegitable market are situated, it was built on BOT system in Perinthalmanna road. Kolamangalam slaughter house, new bus bay development, community hall are among the major achievements Abuyusuf Gurukkal brought to Valanchery.
