Pannur is a small town in Kizhakkoth panchayath of Kozhikode district, Kerala. It lies 6 kilometers north west of Koduvally town and 3 kilometers south of Elettil Vattoli on Arambram – Elettil road. Pannur is well connected by roads. Narikkuni – Pannur road connects Pannur town with State highway 68 at Narikkuni. Ozhalakunnu – Pannur road connects Pannur town and Ozhalakunnu which situated on Nellamkandi – Elettil road.
Pannur is an agrarian village. Coconut, arecanut banana, tapioca are widely cultivated. There are paddy fields in Pannur where rice is cultivated.
Pannur is a Muslim majority village and Hindus are minority. Both AP and EK factions of Sunnis are predominant here. IUML is the largest political party in Pannur. CPI(M) and Congress and BJP has presence here.
